Fire at Gulshan Ravi workshop brought under control in LAHORE, April 27, 2026.
A fire that erupted at a workshop in Lahore’s Gulshan Ravi area was brought under control on Monday, Rescue 1122 said, adding that cooling operations were ongoing.
The fire broke out near Band Road, 5 Number T, where the blaze engulfed United buses parked inside the workshop, prompting a swift response from rescue teams.
According to Rescue 1122, a call was received about a fire at a bus stand in Shibli Town’s Pump Wala Bazaar, following which rescue personnel and emergency vehicles reached the site.
“Firefighters remained engaged in extinguishing efforts for several hours before bringing the blaze under control. Edhi volunteers and ambulances were also dispatched and participated in relief operations,” it added.

Rescue 1122 said no casualties were immediately reported, while the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
Earlier in February, a major fire broke out in a warehouse near Barkat Market in Lahore, close to a petrol pump, triggering a large-scale emergency response by Rescue 1122. The facility, reportedly spread over around one kanal, was being used to store plastic chairs and other goods.
Dozens of firefighters, along with multiple fire tenders, rescue vehicles, ambulances, and support teams, were deployed to control the blaze, which remained active for several hours before being brought under control.
