No immediate comment from the Palestinian group; attacks continue unabated despite ceasefire in October 2025

The Israeli army on Friday claimed to have killed three Palestinian commanders in Gaza, alleging they were part of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

“In a precise strike yesterday, Israeli forces and the Shin Bet security agency eliminated Mohammed al-Yazouri in the Khan Younis area,” the army said in a statement. It claimed that al-Yazouri served as commander of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade.

The army also claimed that Hudhaifa Muammar, a “company commander,” and Muhammad Bahjat Rashi, who it said was from Hamas’ military wing in the Khan Younis Brigade, were killed in the same strike.

There was no immediate comment from Hamas or the Qassam Brigades.

Since October 2023, Israel has been carrying out a genocide in Gaza, killing more than 73,000 Palestinians and injuring over 174,000 others, while destroying around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure. The attacks continue unabated despite a ceasefire in October 2025.

1 Palestinian killed, 13 injured in Israeli attacks on southern Gaza

One Palestinian was killed and 13 others, including children, were injured in Israeli attacks on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday, medical sources told Anadolu.

The attacks were among Israel’s daily violations of a ceasefire agreement in effect in the enclave since October 10, 2025.

The body and 12 of the injured were brought to Nasser Hospital after a drone struck a gathering of civilians in the Al-Sumoud displacement camp, Al-Mawasi area.

Earlier, a person was critically injured when an Israeli tank opened fire toward the Ard al-Limoun locality in Al-Mawasi.

Separately, another person succumbed to his wounds sustained when Israeli forces struck a gathering of civilians in the Al-Daraj neighbourhood of Gaza City on Thursday.
