1,551 were injured in 1,337 Road Traffic Crashes across Punjab during last 24 hours


LAHORE:

At least 15 people died, whereas 1,551 were injured in 1,337 Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) across Punjab during the last 24 hours.

Out of these, 689 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 862 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site by Rescue Medical Teams.

The majority (78%) involved motorbikes. Furthermore, the analysis showed those 904 drivers, 62 underage drivers, 161 pedestrians, and 501 passengers were among the victims of road traffic crashes.

The details further reveal that 1,566 victims were affected by road traffic crashes including 1,263 males & 303 females.
