A police constable was martyred after terrorists launched a brazen attack on a checkpost in the Killi Harmezai area of Balochistan’s Pishin district on Monday evening.
According to police sources, unknown terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on the checkpost located in the Harmezai region. The sudden assault left Hawaldar Nematullah critically injured. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but he succumbed to his wounds.

The attackers managed to flee from the scene shortly after the firing. In response, security forces swiftly cordoned off the entire area and initiated a large-scale search operation to apprehend the culprits.
Hawaldar Nematullah was a seasoned and respected member of the local police force, known among colleagues for his commitment to duty.
Senior police officials reached the hospital to offer condolences to the grieving family. The Balochistan Police strongly condemned the cowardly attack and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Balochistan has been under constant terrorist attacks.
On Saturday, security forces killed five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Noshki, hours after two separate attacks on police stations in the Noshki and Kachhi districts.
Last week, a police head constable was martyred and six personnel, including a sub-inspector of the Counter Terrorism Department, were seriously injured in a fierce exchange of fire during a targeted operation against terrorists in the Dasht area.
Last month, two police personnel were martyred when unidentified suspects opened fire on an Eagle Squad team on the Eastern Bypass.
