Pakistan’s youth netball team continued their dominant run at the Asian Youth Netball Championship 2025, crushing hosts South Korea 91-6 on Sunday to secure their third consecutive win and top the Pool B standings.

The green shirts dominated from the start, leading 23-2 in the first quarter and extending the margin to 45-3 by half-time. By the third quarter, the scoreline read 70-4 before Pakistan wrapped up the match at 91-6.

Outstanding performances came from Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Naveed, Haleema, Sarina Hussain, Jasmine Farooq, Farah Rasheed, Amani, Parisa, Sumayya Ahmed and Alina, who all contributed to the emphatic victory.

Pakistan had earlier defeated Saudi Arabia 71-15 on Friday and Chinese Taipei 56-32 on Saturday. The team now faces Japan on Monday and the Maldives on Tuesday.

The Pakistan Netball Federation extended thanks to head coach Amanda Newton, praising her “exceptional coaching, technical expertise, and unwavering dedication” via a social media post, noting her role in the team’s ongoing success.

The championship, being held at Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium from June 27 to July 4, features 11 nations split into two groups.

Eleven teams are participating in the championship and are divided into two groups.

Group A: Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong and India

Group B: Chinese Taipei, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
