More than 15 armed men stormed a farmhouse in the Murad Memon Goth, Sachal area in Malir district and looted cash and valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees after taking the manager and his family hostage.

According to details, the suspects forcibly entered the farmhouse after breaking the gate, held guards, staff, and family members at gunpoint, and allegedly attempted to take over the property. The assailants also threatened the victims with serious consequences.

A case has been registered at Sachal police station on the complaint of Abdul Rehman, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 7. In his statement, he said the armed men blindfolded the staff, forced them into a vehicle, and drove them around different areas before releasing them with threats. The suspects also resorted to aerial firing during the incident.

The FIR states that the suspects looted around Rs500,000 in cash along with other valuables. Some of the attackers reportedly remained on the premises during the incident and even took photos of themselves using mobile phones.
