Ebrahim said KUFPEC sees strong potential for expanding its presence in Pakistan’s upstream energy sector


ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) Vice President Tareq Ebrahim to discuss expanding cooperation in Pakistan’s petroleum sector, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.

Malik described Kuwait as one of Pakistan’s closest friends and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the more than 50-year partnership in the energy sector.

Ebrahim said KUFPEC sees strong potential for expanding its presence in Pakistan’s upstream energy sector.

The minister assured KUFPEC of the government’s full support and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for international investment.
