Says present phase should not be viewed as a tactical pause before renewed hostilities
ISLAMABAD:
ISLAMABAD. Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir president Masood Khan said on Sunday that Pakistan emerged as the central facilitator in ongoing efforts to secure a diplomatic settlement between the United States and Iran.
In a statement, he expressed confidence that sustained engagement and pragmatic diplomacy could lead to the successful conclusion of the MoU currently under discussion.
Khan said that the present phase should not be viewed as a tactical pause before renewed hostilities, but rather as a serious diplomatic effort aimed at ending escalation and establishing a framework for lasting engagement between Washington and Tehran.
