China Window emerging as key platform for Pakistan-China people-to-people ties and Iron clad friendship
PESHAWAR:
Director General (China) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Tariq Wazir has described China Window as an emerging powerhouse for strengthening people-to-people ties between the two iron-clad friends.
During his visit to the state-of-the-art Chinese cultural and information centre in Peshawar on Sunday, DG Wazir toured the various galleries showcasing China’s rich history, ancient civilisation, technological achievements, tourism potential, educational landscape, and the deep-rooted friendship with Pakistan.
He expressed deep appreciation for the thoughtful curation of exhibits that bring China closer to the people of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
Wazir signed the Friendship Wall and recorded his impressions in the Visitors’ Book, praising the vision behind the establishment of this unique institution.

“I would like to commend the organisers and everyone associated with this remarkable initiative,” Wazir said. “What has been achieved here is truly impressive. China Window has already done wonders in promoting Pakistan-China friendship, and I am confident that its role will become even more significant in the years ahead.”
He stressed that an institution of this nature was long needed in Peshawar and has successfully filled a vital gap in cultural diplomacy and mutual understanding.
“An institution like this, based in Peshawar, was always needed. We believe its activities should be expanded in many directions so that more people can benefit from learning about China and the longstanding friendship between our two nations,” he added.
